Our objective is simple: to provide evidence and specialist roof information that helps buyers make informed decisions. We don’t sell repairs, and we don’t profit from recommending them — which means we have no reason to exaggerate what we find.

The service is designed around assessment, not generating subsequent roofing work. Where work is needed, we’ll say so and provide cost guidance — but we never carry out or sell the repairs. That separation is the whole point: you can trust the findings because we have nothing to gain from them being worse than they are.

How we fit with a RICS survey
Complementary, not a replacement
Homebuyer Roof Surveys does not provide RICS Home Surveys. A RICS Home Survey assesses the property broadly; our specialist survey goes into far greater detail on the roof alone. The two are complementary — many buyers come to us after a Level 2 or Level 3 survey recommends a specialist roof investigation.
